The platform claims that recent studies have shown KL drivers spend over 50 minutes in traffic and 25 minutes looking for parking on a daily basis. GoCar believes that its car-sharing service would decrease the number of cars fighting for space on the roads, and the newly integrated SSP and FP function would further extend that to parking locations as well.

The company added that users of the platformβs 24/7 One-Way Trip option are also entailed to additional drop-off locations for their GoCars. This new feature is currently available to users in Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya for the time being. GoCar says that it is planning to make other areas available in Malaysia by the end of the year, and urges users to stay tuned for future updates. For users in the aforementioned area, you can now access the new street parking feature in your GoCar app by booking a One-Way Trip service. From there, simply select a pickup spot and choose a drop-off point at any available location. Also, do ensure that youβre using the latest app version (v4.2 onwards) in order to enjoy this.
