Several images of the MSI notebook first appeared on Notebookcheck, and at first glance, it looked very similar to the hulking behemoth that is MSI’s GT75 Titan gaming notebook. But beyond the aggressive-looking vent design, there is clearly some difference to be seen. For a start, the skirt of the notebook’s belly is lined with RGB LED on almost all sides, save for its spine. Second, the display’s position and hinges are located deeper towards the notebook’s keypad; a design trait similar to what Dell has done with its new Alienware notebooks, and Lenovo with its Legion lineup. Another little detail is the use of what appears to carbon fibre for the rear vent fins, though at this point, no one knows for sure if they’re faux carbon fibre fins or real.
Beyond these images, not much else is known about the notebook. Online chatter suggests that MSI could bear the moniker “GT76”. Mainly due to the possibility of it becoming the successor to the GT75 Titan. It’s hardware specifications remain a mystery too, but given MSI’s trend with high-performance notebooks, it’s likely that we could be looking at a machine being powered by a 9th generation Intel Core-i9 CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080, and an insane amount of DDR4 memory. In any case, we’ll just have to wait until the end of the month to find out. (Source: Notebookcheck // Image: Notebookcheck)
