ORIGINAL STORY (1:59 PM): Yesterday, Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin announced the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO). This will replace the Conditional MCO that we currently have in place, which is scheduled to end on 9 June. That being said, Penang may not be implementing the RMCO immediately come 10 June. Instead, the state will only enforce the RMCO once the state fine tunes the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said that the state government will do so during a Penang Security Council Committee meeting on 9 June....

Nolee said that the state will first develop a new transportation hub around the Ipoh Railway Station which would later accommodate the new LRT system. “It involves an area of 60 hectares,” she noted. “However, the cost and development period of the transportation hub are still being studied.” Aside from the new LRT system, Ipoh would also introduce an integrated transportation system which would consist of rapid transit and regular buses, a tram, and taxis....
