Dylan Roussel, who is an Android developer and 9to5Google contributor, shared screenshots of this in action. In addition to the usual heart button, it looks like Twitter is working on adding four more reactions. These are represented by the thinking, crying, laughing and clapping emojis.

But from the mobile app interface, it may work similarly to the way Facebook has its Reactions. As in, you hold down on the heart, then a small menu of the other options pop up.
No word on when this will go live on Twitter, but it’s likely that it will be released rather than shelved. Though now that the platform has its own premium subscription service, there’s a chance that the new feature will be locked behind the paywall. If that happens though, it shouldn’t be a surprise.
